Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of therapy approach do you offer?

Person-Centred Therapy

The foundation of my practice is person-centred therapy. This approach is founded on the belief that you have the capacity to understand yourself and make positive changes when you have the right support. I don’t tell you what to do—instead, I provide a safe, understanding, and accepting space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings freely.

Key benefits:

  • You are heard and understood without judgment
  • You have space to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace
  • You are supported in finding your own solutions

Trauma-Informed Approaches

Having worked in abuse and trauma settings, I know that some clients benefit from a trauma-informed approach. I have trained in Lifespan Integration Therapy (LI), which helps you gently process and integrate difficult trauma memories, so they lose their emotional intensity. LI works well alongside person-centred therapy.

Key benefits:

  • Reduces the emotional impact of past trauma
  • Helps you feel safer in your present life
  • Complements your personal growth journey
